Project Overview
The Job Seeker Growth team focused on acquiring and retaining job seekers, specifically on mobile web and app.

After focusing on user acquisition with features like iOS SmartBanners, we shifted our Growth team's focus to retention. One of the most common ways that job seekers return to Indeed is through the daily job alert emails. So, we decided to take what was already working and implement a push notification test that leveraged our logged data about when a user had engaged with the app (day of week, time of day, timezone), checked for push notification permissions, and sent them a simple notification.









My Contributions
Inspired by other mobile application experiences, I wrote requirements and oversaw the MVP, measurement, and iterations of job alert notification sign-up (as a choice of push notification or email).

Outcome
• Increased job alert creations on mobile by 40%
